The Tableby Sanctual

Sanctual Serve

We gather at The Table.
Then we get up and serve.

SANCTUAL SERVE is the giving-back expression connected to The Table and SANCTUAL. Every 60 days, women come together to help another woman bring care, order, and stewardship to an area of her temple that needs attention.

Sometimes the temple we tend is the home.
Sometimes it is the body.
Sometimes it is the environment surrounding a woman who simply needs help getting things back in order.

We come in. We pray. And we get to work.

What is a Temple Serve?

Practical, hands-on care.

A Temple Serve is practical, hands-on support for a woman experiencing a genuine area of need. Depending on the need, a Temple Serve may include:

  • Home organization and decluttering
  • Bedroom or living-space refreshing and styling
  • Wardrobe organization
  • Personal care or makeover support for a woman rebuilding confidence
  • Cleaning and restoring order to neglected spaces
  • Practical household support
  • Stewardship support and education
  • Other areas of practical care within our ability and resources

Every Serve will be different because every woman and every need is different. The goal is not simply to make something look better.

We want to help women steward what has been entrusted to them with dignity, care, wisdom, and order.

How it works

Five simple steps.

01

Apply

Women may submit a confidential application describing the area of need, the current pain point, and what they hope to see restored or changed.

02

Review

Applications are prayerfully reviewed based on need, available resources, volunteers, and the type of support we are equipped to provide. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.

03

Gather

When a Temple Serve is selected, a small team of volunteers gathers to serve.

04

Pray + Work

We begin with prayer and then put our hands to the work.

05

Give Forward

When physically capable, women who receive a Temple Serve are encouraged to participate in a future Serve for another woman. We believe receiving should have the opportunity to become giving.

Dignity matters

Your need does not have to become content.

Women receiving a Temple Serve may choose to remain anonymous. Participation does not require agreeing to photographs, videos, testimonials, social-media posts, or public disclosure of personal circumstances.

Service is not a transaction for exposure.

We believe generosity can happen quietly.

“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Matthew 6:3–4

How Sanctual Serve is supported

Offered at no cost.

SANCTUAL SERVE is offered at no cost to selected recipients.

Serves are supported through designated resources, the generosity surrounding The Table community, SANCTUAL, volunteers, and other available contributions.

The purpose is not consumerism or unnecessary renovation. We prioritize stewardship, function, care, restoration, and genuine need.

From The Table to service

The Table was never meant to end at the table.

We gather around the Word.
We eat.
We learn.
We mature.
We fellowship.

And then what God cultivates in us should become something that can nourish someone else.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.”

1 Peter 4:10
